Waveplates

Waveplates transmit light and modify its polarization state without attenuating, deviating, or displacing the beam. They do this by retarding one component of polarization with respect to its orthogonal component. Waveplate retarders are designed to operate with light that have existing polarization states.

HGO's waveplates, including λ/8, λ/4, λ/2and 1λretardation, are widely used in synthesis and analysis of light in various states of polarization. The wavelengths within 240nm~2100nm are available.
